This kdrama narrates the uneasy relationship between icy heiress Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung) and merciless demon Jeong Gu-won (Song Kang) after he loses his powers. As they constantly entangle with each other, a contract marriage is created which leads true romance to bloom between them.

Overall, this show was good and I enjoyed watching it. The character evolutions were really satisfying. Dancer Jin Ga-yeong (Jo Hye-joo) goes from jealous and immature to leaving South Korea in an effort to discover herself. CEO Joo Seok-hoon (Lee Sang-yi) becomes a close friend of Gu-won's despite being love rivals and having rough initial impressions of each other. Do-hee's aunt Kim Se-ra (Jo Yeon-hee) finally exposes the criminal activity within her family after years of abuse.

The reveals of the show were also rewarding: who was threatening Do-hee's life, and could an immortal man sustain a relationship with a mortal woman. The chemistry between the leads was great as they navigated their feelings really impressively. With plenty of intensely emotional scenes, they succeeded in properly depicting vulnerability and passionate love for each other. Both Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung are amazing actors who've starred in great projects, and this one lived up to the buzz.

Side note: I don't think I've ever seen a better looking couple. Every time they were on screen together (which was often) I was amazed by their visuals and compatibility. I also loved how Gu-won had bold yet elegant style, playing with silhouettes and colors; I thought it was refreshing to see a masculine character wearing more gender neutral clothes. I'd love to see these actors work together in another drama because this one entertained me a lot.
